Toronto’s southern downtown includes Harbourfront, the South Core, CityPlace and hotel properties near Union Station. Railway lines, the Gardiner corridor and major event facilities shape how people move through the area. A property may appear close to another district while requiring a specific underpass, entrance or vehicle route.
Front Street, Bremner Boulevard, Lakeshore Boulevard and Queens Quay are useful orientation lines. Bathurst Street and Yonge Street define the broader west–east span used for this cue card. The exact hotel remains more important than the corridor label.

PILLAR SECTION
Waterfront hotels connect with the Gardiner Expressway, Lakeshore Boulevard, Union Station, GO Transit, VIA Rail, UP Express and TTC routes. That connectivity supports travellers and commuters, but it also creates congestion around events, construction and peak travel periods.
A guest arriving by train should allow time to leave the platform, navigate the station, handle luggage and complete hotel check-in. A guest leaving for Pearson should protect the UP Express or road-travel schedule. Current transportation information always takes priority over general estimates.
If the appointment sits before a train, flight, cruise, game or concert, state the deadline. The best request leaves a margin rather than using every available minute.
PILLAR SECTION
The Waterfront and CityPlace areas contain high-rise hotels, residences and mixed-use complexes. Similar tower names and connected podiums can make the correct entrance unclear. Send the complete hotel name or, for another eligible location, begin with the nearest major intersection.
Condominium or residential requests require separate confirmation of security, intercom, elevator and parking conditions. A hotel request requires the registered guest to follow visitor procedures. Neither setting is automatically covered merely because it falls within the corridor.
Share the precise room or unit only after availability is established. Keep WhatsApp open near the agreed time and communicate immediately if building access or travel plans change.
