A hotel may be only a few blocks from Union Station yet require additional time for a tower entrance, lobby registration or controlled elevator. Union Station connects subway, GO Transit, VIA Rail and the UP Express. That connectivity makes the corridor convenient, but a scheduled train arrival is not the same as being ready inside a hotel room. Platform movement, the station concourse, luggage and check-in all add time.
For a departure, work backward from the train or airport connection. Leave enough margin to exit the hotel, collect luggage and reach the correct platform. Current TTC, GO, VIA and UP Express information should take priority over general guidance on this page.
Walking may be practical among nearby properties, but weather, construction and underground-route familiarity change the experience. Direct arrival planning is part of confirming the appointment.
PILLAR SECTION
Many Financial District buildings combine hotels, offices, residences, restaurants or retail. Entrances can face different streets, and a single complex may have several lobbies. Send the full property name and follow any final entrance instruction rather than assuming the nearest tower door is correct.
The registered guest must handle front-desk and elevator requirements. Do not publish or send the room number before an appointment is accepted. Around the scheduled time, monitor WhatsApp in case a lobby meeting or entrance clarification is necessary.
If the hotel is west of University Avenue, the Entertainment District page may provide a better corridor match. Waterfront properties south of the railway corridor have their own location pillar.
